Some rules to remember:
- There will be no discrimination to those very new to roleplaying. This is the area where they can learn how to be a better role player. Please, if they are having troubles do help them in a friendly manner.
- Before posting on any of the board on here, you MUST have an approved character. If caught posting on here without one, you will be given a warning and your thread and or post will be deleted.
- Please make sure that if you are going to be joining a roleplay that someone else has made, to read and understand all the rules made on that board. As well as the setting and and other PCs intros.
- There will be absolutely NO one liners on this board, I can accept a few three sentence posts; but please do not make a habit of that. If any of our staff notices a constant small posts on your account you will be given a warning.
- If you cannot handle the extreme adult content on these boards, don't post here.
- If you do not understand something another PC or the ST has posted, please ONLY speak out of character (ooc) Or, PM the person who did make that post. DO NOT post a reply to someones post, unless you clearly understand the PCs post. I cannot emphasize this enough.
- If a roleplay has pages longer then five pages you CANNOT join, unless invited to do so or open to new players.
Please for reference read the following and know this guide before making any posts or boards:
Literacy guideline:
-- Do not speak in first person, Unless you character is writing to/in something or someone.
-- Don’t use asterisk (i.e. *Sits down* or *Looks over at you*)
-- Use the characters name when using them in your sentence instead of saying you. (i.e. He gazed over at “name of character” with eyes of fear and uncertainty. -Instead of- He gazed over at you with eyes of fear and uncertainty.)
-- Make sure to break up your paragraphs instead of having one large paragraph. It makes it easier to read, and looks better.
-- Make sure when you post that it has the use of proper grammar, punctuation, capitalization, and etc.
-- Be sure not to use One-Liners on all boards
-- Be sure not to use Mini-Posting while on any literate boards.
-- Be sure you know what is going on in the story before you post. Also be sure that you are clear on what you are adding to the story, so the others can respond to your characters actions.
-- Make sure that all the spelling and capitalization are correct before posting your post. A good thing for this is, to write your post in Word or in something that has a spell check. Before you post anything. It will make it easier to understand for the other players, if they can read things easily.
-- If you aren’t sure about a post on a board you can either PM the person who wrote it, or if it is allowed by the ST ask in OOC: what the person was meaning-- so that you understand before you post.
