Speed Posting:
In simple terms speed posting is when a player posts before any other player has a chance to post on a board. The action itself is not considered speed posting, but doing the same action repetitively on a regular basis is in fact considered speed posting.
Usually the player who speed posts, is hard to understand and most commonly is looked over and cannot be role played with for lack of being able to understand any of their posts. They tend to make the quickest reaction to the post they just read, in order to get their reaction on the board first so that others don't have a chance to do so. Weather or not their reaction has anything to do with the previous post, they love to post first.
Example of a speed poster:
Player A posts then Speed poster posts
Player B replies to both then speed poster again
Player A replies to Player B and the speed poster-- then speed poster replies to player A (which now the speed posters post doesn't make sense.)
Player B asks speed poster what they meant and the speed poster gets mad and doesn't explain anything. So, player B replies to player A's post-- still unable to understand the speed poster
Speed poster replies to player B, still not making any sense.
Ect... ect.
Being the first one to post isn't going to make you a speed poster, as long as your posts make sense and stay with the storyline as well flowing nicely with the previous post. Just be sure, that you remember that posting on a board is not a race and even if your post is behind someone else's it still will get read just like everyone else's.
